Our Purpose:
Cornerstone Baptist Church has the purpose of fulfilling the great commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20. ” Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”

Our Mission:
To provide basic education, livelihood programs and trainings that will develop technical skills and hone their talents, and engage the students in activities that will encourage them to serve the Lord God by serving their communities. Serving their communities is passing on the mission of compassion.

In the New Testament, Jesus takes up the idea of compassion and gives the concept a new meaning. In John 10:16, He extends the idea of compassion acted upon “And other sheep I have, which are not this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Our Vision:
To give the underprivileged deaf access to education,
an exposure to Christian values and a perspective of Filipino identity.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish…,”the great scriptural verse from Proverbs 29:18, evokes the highest vision any individual or group can ever claim. This is because it grounds the vision on compassion. Compassion enables a person to empathize with the suffering others and compels that person to share with the suffering individual’s plight. In this verse, compassion is virtue that becomes a vehicle of change when acted upon.

Our Goals:
- To produce God-fearing, socially-conscious, and proactive members of the community and the larger Filipino society.
- To produce graduates who are confident and vision-filled individuals.
- To raise up teachers, missionaries, and social workers among the ranks of students so that the vision, culture, and discipline of learning would continue.
- To enlighten the students about the rights and abilities of the deaf and other differently-abled individuals so that they, too, can enlighten other people about it.
- To teach and train the deaf technical skills which they can use as practical life skills.
- To develop and hone their creative talents and gifts and teach them to share to the world around them.
